The search engine @ecosia reached the milestone of 200 million trees planted.
They dedicate 100% of their profits to climate action. To date the majority has been channeled into reforestation projects around the world, but they are also contributing to a growing number of climate impact projects.
Since 2020, their solar plants produce enough renewable energy to power all Ecosia searches twice over. We’ve also set up an incubator for regenerative agriculture, invested into climate tech solutions, and recognizing the need for holistic change, diversified our search providers last year to provide you with an improved search experience.
